Sold firm in Leslieville – represented the buyers.
Original turn-of-the-century Leslieville charm. Secret-garden vibes with layers of botanical potential. Thoughtfully renovated. Walking distance to everything good. I told these buyers when we started looking that I’d know it was the one by the look on their faces.
We booked an early evening showing on the day it came to market. I saw “the look.” Definitely the one. 🤫 We strategized. And then we bullied — with a big number and a short irrevocable, with the intention to cancel the seller’s scheduled offer date.
Bullying in real estate is equivalent to standing at the start line of a race. It’s adrenaline, strategy and your heart is absolutely racing when it’s happening. But since I met these two at the gym, I knew that they knew a thing or two about pacing under pressure.
Four nail-biting hours later, four minutes left on the irrevocable, and the acceptance lands. Last night there were hugs, tears, smiles, a wagging tail, champagne — and a new chapter signed for in the same neighbourhood where they’ll say “I do” next year. 💍
